Scoil Bhríde welcomes a famous Past-Pupil to Christmas Concert

December 21, 2013

As usual, the teachers and children of Scoil Bhríde produced some great Christmas Plays for parents and family members over the last few weeks, but the high point came on Thursday 19th December with a visit from our most famous past-pupil, the musician Damien Dempsey. Damien, accompanied by Eamonn DeBarra, thrilled the pupils, parents and, not least, the teachers, when he played along with little Zane and the children from Mr. Culhane’s 1st Class as they sang Apple of my Eye. After the play, Damien and Eamonn performed on their own and joined the staff for a cup of tea. Thank you Damien and Eamonn and of course Mr. Culhane and his class for a wonderful morning’s entertainment!
