Thanks so much to all the boys and girls in Senior Infants and to their parents who donated shoe boxes full of gifts for children in Eastern Europe and Africa who are not as well off as we in Ireland are. Thanks to Ms. Reynolds, Ms. Quinlan and Ms.Keogh for organising the appeal and to the team from Hope who will make sure the gifts are delivered. It is always good to think of those less fortunate than ourselves, especially at Christmas time.

Well done to the boys and girls who won awards for good behaviour and for good handwriting in November!

Scoil Bhríde achieved a Green Flag for waste recycling. All the boys and girls try very hard to collect their rubbish and to keep the school nice and clean. We are now hoping to earn our second Green Flag for reducing our Energy Consumption. Children and staff will remember to turn off lights, computers, interactive whiteboards and taps when not in use. If they forget, the Green Committee will remind them with the help of our Energy Monster, George! (Look at the photographs below and you will see who named George.) Good luck to everybody as we work had to achieve our flag. The Green Committee and George are certainly ready for action!

Scoil Bhríde boys and girls were delighted to welcome Sam Maguire to school on Monday 11th of November. They were also delighted to welcome Darragh Nelson from the Dublin Panel, along with Neil, Damien and Eimear (GAA Facilitators).
