Congratulations to our 2nd Class children who made their First Holy Communion on Sunday May 13th. It was a lovely, special day! Well done to all concerned – children, parents, teachers and priests!

We have successfully hatched chicks and ducklings again this year!

Last week Skip Hop came to Scoil Bhríde and all the classes attended workshops to learn new skipping skills! On Friday afternoon the whole school gathered together to watch a display showcasing the skills and tricks the children learned!

Congratulations to all the boys and girls who won Easter Eggs in our raffle! Many thanks to our Parents’ Association for organising and the parents for supporting this fundraising event.

We were delighted to have two winners in the Regional Finals of the INTO/EBS Handwriting Competition. Congratulations to both children! We are very proud!

On Friday 16th March we celebrated Seachtain na Gaeilge and St. Patrick’s Day with special assemblies which included Irish music, songs, poems and dancing!

We owe a big thank you to Colm Maher (father of Jamie in Room 1) and his classmates from the Botanic Gardens. They came to our school recently and overhauled our railed garden. We were all amazed at how hard and fast they worked! We love our newly re-done garden and we are looking forward to setting more flowers, fruit and vegetables which will be ready for the summer term.
